An unpolished mind can lead to false directions by popping up inappropriate answers. But before we delve deeper into that topic, let's first look at why your brain can generate questions that lead to unwanted results.
The short answer is that misleading questions come from unwanted situations in the current state of your life. I call this the "happiness index". The happiness index has a value between 0-10. When the value is below 5, you will feel unhappy with your life, and above that, you will be happy. When you have a low happiness index, you are more likely to generate self-doubting questions. I have observed this fact in myself, and I can say that the root cause of unhappiness is the lack of clarity about your life purpose, coupled with unwanted situations in your current life.
So, the reality is that no one can control everything. Some days are good, and some are bad. But the one thing you can control is yourself! When you feel unhappy, you should take a break from decision-making. Take a deep breath, find something to eat, work out, and sleep. Then make decisions later.
Now, let's get to the main content. What are the wrong questions that can pop into our heads? Trust me, I have been in that chair before, and here is my list:
- "I can do this (business) because I have the knowledge, funds, intentions, and other people are making a lot of money. But I can't push my effort consistently."
- "I want to do this (some task), but I feel very stressed."
- "I don't want to do this (something that I must do). Actually, I feel deep inside that I need to do it."
These are just examples. When you feel self-doubt, be careful. You might be going in the wrong direction. So what should you do next? The short answer is "Find your life purpose!" This is the best question you can ask yourself throughout your life - "What exactly do I want to achieve in my life?" Even if you are confident that you have found the meaning of life, sometimes the outside world can affect your thoughts.
